FLORIAN SCHLUMPF on a Schlumpf

Cost: Most parts custom made, so it costs a lot of time and energy - and some money, too!
Remark: I'm still testing lot of different stuff, as this is my first long ride, so I don't have much experience yet. I actually use a geared 24" uni, but I'll probably switch to 26".
Rims: SUN
Tyres: 24"x3 (due to actual training conditions: snow and ice!! The circumference of 2.05m is bigger than a 26" Big Apple.) For the tour, I probably use a Schwalbe Marathon 26”x1.50
Spokes: DT d2mm
Cranks: 152 - 165mm
Pedals: Baerentatze
Hub: Schlumpf

Seatpost: 1"
Seat: actually a hard "Viscount", but not that bad!
Cyclecomputer: no
brake: V-brake (will be added later)
Best thing about my unicycle: It’s handy in 1.1 mode and fast enough in high gear mode.
Worst thing about my unicycle: the rider (the uni still isn’t “an extension of my body”!)
How long I have had my unicycle: a few weeks with the current set-up

KEN LOOI on my Sexy Schlumpf

Cost: Things got a bit murky with exchange rates and tying things up with her dowry, but a lot!
Rim: Exal
Tyre: Schwalbe Big Apple 29".  I need to wear a good sized rubber on my wheel.

Spokes: DT Swiss double butted black, standard brass nipples
Cranks: Schlumpf Drive 125's, but also a selection from 89 to 125mm
Pedals: Snafu sealed bearing
Hub: Schlumpf Innovations, black
Frame: Schlumpf Innovation 29" Polished Alloy.
Seatpost: Schlumpf CrMo seatpost
Seat: Miyata Carbon seatbase, Gemcrest leather cover (Mmm...leather), Scott Wallis Dual density foam (cut down), Wallis Deathgrip.  I may swap over to my double pronged GB4 handle for the trip, as it allows me to carry my lucky ding ding bell.
Cyclecomputer: no, not ever!  I don't need a computer to tell me what sort of workout I'm getting.
Brake: Who needs to stop anyway?
Best thing about my unicycle: She's so smooth and sexy.  And she will soon be moving into my bedroom
Worst thing about my unicycle: I'm too busy to ride her
How I rate my seat/handle set-up: **** I think I still would like her flatter and thinner and I never give a 5 star no matter how good it get's.  The deathgrip is definitely kinky, but need to wear protection as it scratches easily.
How long I have had my unicycle: We met in August '05, going out (long distances) ever since.
The most memorable event/adventure/ride/thing my unicycle has been through is: None yet- the LUT is our honeymoon!
